February 2019 HWTN Meeting Presentation 

Alderman Kovac and the Department of Public Works presented a Proposed Reconfiguration of the Lane Striping on Lake Drive.   The concept of a “road diet” was explained, with goals of better traffic organization and increased safety for all including bikers and pedestrians.  Next steps includes further community outreach and identification of funding sources.  Depending on the outcome, lane restriping could be done in 2020.
