Tax Credits for Home Restortation

Thanks to the work of HWTN, historic homes in our neighborhood are eligible for a valuable 25% state income tax credit for pre-approved, necessary exterior and internal renovations.

These credits are available in areas listed in the National Register of Historic Places. HWTN raised money to pay for research and applications that successfully added the following districts in our neighborhood to the National Register of Historic Places Districts, making homes here eligible for the credits: North Point North, North Point South, Newberry Blvd., Kenwood Park-Prospect Hill and Prospect Hill.
