HWTN board meetings are held at 7:00 p.m. on the first Wednesday or the month in the Marcia Coles Community Room of the Lake Park Pavilion (lower level). We don't regularly meet in July, August or December. We do hold a holiday party every December.

Historic Water Tower Neighborhood March 1st Meeting with  Cheryl Nenn, Milwaukee Riverkeeper!

Please join us for a friendly gathering of your neighbors and meet Cheryl Nenn from the Milwaukee Riverkeeper and become informed. 

We meet at the Marcia Coles Community Room of Bartolotta’s Lake Park Pavilion (lower level).

Wednesday, February 1st meeting with Mayor Barrett

Exciting February 1st meeting planned! Please join us and bring your neighbors and friends.  Mayor Barrett will address the issue of lead in our drinking water at 7PM sharp.  He is open to answer any other questions which are important to you and our neighborhood.  As per usual, Bartolotta’s Lake Park Bistro will provide yummy fresh-baked cookies and coffee at 6:30pm.  So, come early and enjoy meeting more of your neighbors.

Januauay 11th meeting to focus on HWTN future

 

The first HWTN meeting of 2017 will take place on January 11 at 7pm at Lake Park Bistro and will focus on the future of our organization.

Group discussion will tentatively include the following topics:

* Review HWTN mission and bylaws
* Identify issues and set goals
* Review expectations and support available (new volunteer list)
* Discussion on how we can be more effective

There will also be a brief update from the HWTN Safety Committee.

As usual, we’ll meet in the Marcia Coles Community Room, which is in the lower level of Lake Park Pavilion beneath Bartolotta’s Lake Park Bistro. Come a little early for coffee and cookies courtesy of Bartolotta’s.

Start Off 2017 Right With HWTN Monthly Meeting Jan. 11

Join us to discuss Historic Water Tower Neighborhood’s 2017 plans and neighborhood issues as we kick off the new year with our first monthly meeting at 7 p.m. Jan. 11, 2017.

(Note that because of the New Year’s holiday, we’ve moved this meeting to the second Wednesday of the month rather than the typical first Wednesday.)

Plan to Celebrate Holidays at Member Soiree Friday Dec. 9

Mark your calendars for the annual Historic Water Tower Neighborhood Holiday Party and 43rd Anniversary Celebration, from 7 p.m. – 10 p.m. Friday Dec 9, 2016.

As in recent years, HWTN member Andy Nunemaker will host the party at his stunning home, 2221 N Terrace Ave.

andyThe party is open to HWTN members only. If you haven’t renewed or joined for our membership year that began Oct. 1, please go to our website today and become a member.

The party will feature a festive buffet, wine and beer. Opportunities to share your culinary talents for a discounted registration fee will, once again, be an option.

Information on the cost and how to sign up and pay will be sent to members.
