Three area college students were robbed and assaulted by four men at gunpoint as the victims walked to the Downer Avenue Starbucks around 8 p.m. Saturday Dec. 26, 2015.
According to a police report, the victims were walking south on N. Hackett Ave. a few blocks from the Starbucks when a white SUV stopped about 30 yards away. Four men in their late teens or early 20s exited the vehicle and approached the victims. One suspect pointed a semi-automatic handgun at the victims as the victims were ordered to turn over their cell phones and wallets and were patted down. Two of the victims were punched in the face during the incident.
