Downer Classic Pro Criterium Courses Through HWTN Saturday

Any doubts that summer has arrived should be dispelled because one of the rites of the season in the HWTN is nearly upon us: the Downer Classic Pro Criterium bike races, which take place this Saturday June 29, 2013.

Downer bike race

According to the schedule, races begin at 10:35 a.m. and conclude with the final contest, the Pro Men 1/2, starting at 7 p.m.

As always, the races consist of multiple laps on an HWTN circuit of N. Lake Dr., E. Bradford Pl., N. Downer Ave. and E. Park Pl.

Watch from anywhere along the route as the blindingly-fast athletes compete, and be sure to stop by for food, drink and other activities on Downer Avenue.

You can check out the street closing info we received if you need to know. See you in the neighborhood on Saturday!
