Membership renewal time

Hi members and prospective members!

It’s that time of the year again — time to renew your membership in Milwaukee’s oldest neighborhood group, your Historic Water Tower Neighborhood. We depend on your membership dues to send valuable info to members, maintain our website and pay for important neighborhood projects. Your membership also enables you to vote at our annual meeting and to be considered for nomination to our board of trustees or as an officer.

If you already are a member, you should have received your form in the mail. Please send it in today. If you’re not a member, why not join us?

Either way, we have a membership form available, along with more information about joining, here on our website.

We look forward to hearing from you, working with you and socializing with you. Thank you for your past and future support!

East Side member of Oak Creek Sikh temple to share thoughts this Wednesday on recent shootings

Dr. Swarnjit Arora, a UWM economic professor and longtime neighbor, will share his thoughts on the tragic Aug. 5 shootings at the Sikh Temple in Oak Creek where he and his wife, Nimmi, are members.

Dr. Arora will discuss the tragedy at Historic Water Tower Neighborhood’s Wednesday Sept. 5 monthly meeting. Our meeting starts at 7 p.m., with informal socializing (and coffee and cookies) at 6:30 p.m. We meet in the Marcia Coles Community Room of the Lake Park Pavilion (below Lake Park Bistro).

Join us to hear from Dr. Arora and to discuss neighborhood issues.
